Site:/location

With the contralateral side together as V-Form; chin, chin tip

Fixation:

Origo: Alveolar processes of the lateral lower incisors.

Insertio: Chin skin, partially within the contralateral insertion field = Chin dimple.

Path: Sloping down-median wards.

Action:

 Support for a firm mouth slit closure, necessary for impaired closure.

Specialities: Hyperactivity problematic, swages higher sited musculature upwards , overstrains the mandibular region while understressing the maxillary region; pressure ulcers; squeezing the lower lip between the incisors; ,DUCKBILL’

I/13. Platysma myoides (Neck skin muscle)

Site:/location:

 Areas V, IV to I, Widespread muscle plate.

Fixation:

Origo: Pectoralis fascia II. Rib

Insertio: Mandibular edge, facial skin, Masseter fascia.

Path: Slanting up and medianwards over Clavicula; and chin tip intersecting with collateral side; many irradiations in the mouth corner region.

Action: Lowering the mandible and mouth corner, lower lip; stress , fear, shock..
