CHANGING EXERCISE |

The
work-out method derives in its existence from the special kind of
arrangement of different ways of carry-out of one exercise to form a single
complex. Practicing in changing modi is presumably applied to push up an insufficient musculature intensively into its required frame of motion. Training includes mobility, strength and endurance. |

The changing refers to the different training mode in a muscle physiological sight in which one and the same exercise will be carried out alternately in one training series or within one sequence. The static holding of a muscular position is combined with the repetition of the kinetic motion process for gaining the training position and the return to the starting position. |

Exercise specific. | |
Procedure: |
|
- Previous exercises: Before starting, the exercise should have been trained separately in both carry-out modi. |
|
-Ausgangshaltung: -Starting position: Exercise specific, mostly BASIC- or REST POSITION. |
|
- Step-by-step-Description: |
|
-1Sequence static mode, Hold-Exercise.
Starting from a BASIC POSITION the desired position is taken up. It will be maintained during the time span prescribed while counting (up to ten, twenty, thirty). Subsequently return to the starting position followed by changing to the -2 Sequence kinetic mode, motion exercise. Now the position required is briefly gained in a fluent motion process and immediately returned again into the starting position followed by a second time taking up the target position, then returned and so forth, whereas every single motion process is counted. The number of replications of the motions is prescribed. Is the time fixed as well in which a certain number of repetitions has to be executed a frequency is formed of muscle actions per time fixed. -3 Sequence for instance like 1 -4 Sequence for instance like 2 or the change to another exercise. |
- Timing: |
Through the above described arrangement of the sequences the series gets its typical character; the series follow-up is in this example chosen arbitrarily and may be adapted to the special requirements. |
Characteristics: |
The exercise character is exercise specific but can generally be defined as Motivation, Coordination, Tone rising but equally in a special setting as tone regulating. |
Remarks: |
As the way of executing the exercise needs an increased concentration and, thus, proves psychically as physically straining, the training phase should not be scheduled too long. |
Discussion: |
In contrast to the here discussed carry-out of the CHANGING EXERCISE in different modi of one and the same exercise in the ALTERNATIVE EXERCISE there are two or more exercises combined supporting each other in their effect. Here in this chapter one and the same exercise is performed in the two different modi static and dynamic alternately. Static, here, corresponding to isometric, kinetic rather refers to isotonic. Both exercise modi are in cell physiological aspect directed on different muscle fibre qualities – the static on the red, the kinetic the white. So in the combination of the modi the complete muscle gets trained well-directed. |
Instructions: No special instructions for the patient; the instructions should be gathered from the descriptions of the respective exercise chapters and completed by prescriptions for the changing.
