224 General Chapter |
MOTILITY-EXERCISE |
Myofunktional Exercise Collect ion |
Application: |
no illustration |
This chapter gives a general description of a collective group of exercises and details which are sharing the here described facts. With a missing coordination between the effector organ muscle and its assignments within the target area on one side and the neural control on the other the neuro-muscular action unit is incapable of incapable of complying with the functionally defined movement outlines (frame) (in comparison to MOBILITY see paragraph “Discussion” and chapter MOBILITY EXERCISES). These cases are the operation area for the here described exercises. |

Contents: |
|
The contents of the exercises should be to bring to mind the hyper- or hypo-mobility as a disorder that has been accepted via accommodation by the organism. By this the greater part of the therapy success should already be assured. As a second step would, then, have to follow the exercise which trains the norm and consequently turn it to habituation. |
|
Materials: |
|
Exercise specific. |
|
Procedure: |
|
- Previous exercises: The genuine biomechanics of the motion sequence should be available (forerun: MOBILITY EXERCISE). |
|
-Starting position: Not obligatory, Stand-by Position recommendable. |
|
- Step-by-step-description: -1 Carry-out / schooling of the genuine motion sequence under hand-mirror monitoring in “Slow-motion”. -2 Practicing of the fluent and reiterating motion in a time referred functional frame, preferably under functional conditions. |
-Timing: Exercise specific. The scheduling will be delineated by the realization of the abnormal, the schooling of the coordinated motion frame and its habituation. |
Characteristics: |
Tonicity correction, Coordination, Feedback, Myobalance, Sensitation. |
Remarks: |
MOTILITY is the appropriately motion flow; no rushed, blurred, shaky muscle action. |
Discussion: |
In contrary to the MOBILITY EXERCISES which mainly should appeal to the space-muscle component (texture competence) in the here discussed group of exercises the well-matched neuro-muscular interaction within the functional frame , the motion flow, the motion frequency, speed and strength are the aim of therapy (neural component). The degree of difficulty is comparably higher. As the chapter MOBILITY EXERCISES, owing to the multitude of respective examples, abstained from a listed recording of exercises, in the here discussed case the number of exercises available is much smaller and will be summed up in the following list. However, many exercises in a kinetic mode may be carried out in a way, that they get a frequency beat within the sequence. From this reason here only those exercises are listed which especially aiming at the Motility. |
